Susan Savage, Keynote speaker
Susan served from 2010-2022 as CEO and majority owner of the Sacramento River Cats. She and her late husband, Art Savage, purchased the Triple-A franchise and moved the team from Vancouver to the River City in 2000. For 10 years, they co-owned the River Cats, bringing baseball back to Sacramento after a 23-year absence.
A native of Amarillo, Texas, and graduate of UCLA, Susan was the Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce Businesswoman of the Year in 2012, with a nomination as Minor League Baseball’s Female Executive of the Year, as well. She has also been recognized by the Sacramento Business Journal as one of the Leaders of the Year and Women Who Mean Business. Susan serves on the boards of the California Chamber of Commerce, River Cats Foundation, and past Chair of the Sacramento Host Breakfast Committee. Recently, Susan served as Chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee for Minor League Baseball.
